Job Description:

The Electrical Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing the electrical/electronic installations and personnel related to the electrical/electronic installations of automated warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to our customers’ sites to manage the electrical/electronic assembly and commissioning of automated warehouse systems.
  • Direct and train workers to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment related to automated warehouse
  • Oversee the assembly of equipment, ensuring equipment is assembled according to the schematics/drawing.  Assist in the assembly whenever needed.
  • Scrub BOM’s to resolve any inconsistencies or mistakes in advance of the scheduled installation.  Ensure accuracy in parts required based on the proposal and related drawings.
  • Participate in the troubleshooting and ensure the resolution of any electrical issues related to our equipment. 
  • Confirm the arrival of the materials necessary for the project installation.  Communicate frequently with the dedicated Project Manager regarding any material shortages or delays.
  • Test and validate equipment once assembled.  Lead the on-site system start-up and training at our customers’ facilities.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent related experience.
  • At least five (5) years of related experience with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to read, draw, and interpret electrical diagrams and Bills of Materials.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Basic knowledge of programmable controllers (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
  • Availability to travel extensively in the US and Canada as needed based on scope of project, approximately 70%.
