Job Description:

We are seeking a technical, customer-focused software professional to join our software technical office in Atlanta, GA that works in support of our software sales team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze customers’ needs to design a solution that optimizes customers’ logistics using Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Work WMS deals together with sales team by acting as a technical expert, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on profit, or as directed by the sales manager.
  • Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements and create software project quotations.
  • Coordinate closely with sales team and implementation resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
  • Perform product demonstrations and presentations, and leads technical discussions throughout the sales processes while alerting sales teams of potential risks to deal closure.
  • Secure input from key solution stakeholders within the customer (Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, IT, etc.) to ensure a deal’s “technical close.”
  • Meet existing customers to review current operations and propose continuous improvements to ensure that WMS fulfills current and future business needs.
  • Provide coaching and professional development to sales team to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
  • Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborate with sales to ensure these opportunities are covered and advanced
  • Respond to requests for information (RFI) or requests for proposals (RFP) from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions
  • Participate in trade shows and commercial events.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Sciences, or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience working for a reputable WMS provider.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing WMS software.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Warehousing.
  • Customer Service Oriented.  Experience in customer-facing roles and handling customers.
  • Professional communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate in difficult situations.  Fluency in English is required and fluency in Spanish valued.  
  • Availability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • 1+ year experience in sales is preferred.
  • Ability to work in our Atlanta office full time when not traveling to customers.  1 day of telework per week is offered.
