Schaeffler Iberia, an automotive and industrial sector supplier and a subsidiary of the Schaeffler Group on the Iberian Peninsula, will gear up for business with a miniload system that has a capacity of more than 5,100 boxes in its Guipuzcoa center (Basque Country, Spain).
Mecalux will once again collaborate with Vins i Licors Grau, a company with extensive experience in the distribution of wines and spirits, with the installation of an Automated Storage & Retrieval System (AS/RS) for boxes in its Palafrugell (Girona) center. This solution will allow the company to store more than 900 boxes and speed up the preparation of online orders.
Mecalux will install an AS/RS with a capacity for 7,300 pallets for the French company Papeterie de Mandeure, which belongs to the Clairefontaine Group and focuses on the production and distribution of paper products. Three AGVs and the Mecalux Easy warehouse management system will also be included in the supply.
The installation will be composed of 26 aisles of single-deep racks, each 38' high and 102’ long, divided into three blocks. The total storage capacity will amount to over 8,000 pallets with a maximum 1,764 lb each.
