Mecalux has introduced two new features in the WMS for 3PL module, the advanced Easy WMS solution that supports 3PL providers in making decisions regarding storage, order picking, and shipping for their customers. With these enhancements, the module gives users greater flexibility in billing management and enables faster, more efficient processing of customer-submitted data.

Billing improvements for 3PL contracts: Open invoice preview

A new billing feature has been introduced: open invoice preview, which allows users to check accumulated charges in real time before the billing period is officially closed. This early visibility enables users to monitor ongoing billing, facilitating early error detection and trend analysis.

The improvement, which optimizes contract management, offers key benefits for 3PL providers:

Direct import of Excel files from the web interface

Additionally, the module now includes a new capability: direct import of Excel files, addressing the needs of 3PL providers who receive order requests, inbound instructions, or other communications from customers via email with Excel attachments.

With this enhancement, users can upload customer data from Excel files directly through the web interface. This streamlines daily operations and reduces reliance on manual processes and external tools for integrating customer data.
