That is why ANTIA EPI has built its reputation around expertise in this specialized field. Based in Corbas, France, the company brings more than a decade of experience in auditing, managing, customizing, and supplying workwear and protective equipment. To modernize its logistics operations and strengthen service levels for its 600-plus clients, ANTIA EPI implemented Mecalux’s Easy WMS warehouse management system.

The company stores up to 44,000 units across more than 800 SKUs, including safety helmets and glasses, face shields, earplugs, masks, gloves, footwear, overshoes, harnesses, and high-visibility apparel. Since deploying Easy WMS, warehouse associates have used RF scanners to identify products stored in Mecalux selective pallet racking. “We were looking to gain greater control and speed up shipping operations,” says Nabila Monnet, Deputy Director of ANTIA EPI.

Connected with the company’s EBP ERP system via integration specialist AMIGEST, Easy WMS provides real-time visibility into inventory and warehouse activity. Delivered as a SaaS (software-as-a-service) solution, it has also improved travel routes within the facility, reducing unnecessary movement and accelerating order picking.

Automated customization processes

In addition to helping clients select the most appropriate PPE and CPE, ANTIA EPI offers services where businesses can add their logos and other custom designs to equipment and materials without altering their protective properties. To manage these products effectively, the company implemented the Easy WMS Value-Added Services (VAS) module.

The software guides associates step by step through each customization process. It also provides ANTIA EPI with an additional layer of control, enabling the company to filter order lines according to agreed shipping dates. “We have complete visibility into the customization process for our products,” says Monnet. The result is a smoother workflow and greater responsiveness in dispatch operations.

Priority shipping

Reliable coordination with carriers is essential for ANTIA EPI, which commits to delivering products across France within 48 to 72 hours. Through the Multi-Carrier Shipping Software module, the company has automated communication between its warehouse and transportation partners. The solution coordinates packing, labeling, and distribution processes, reducing errors while improving the customer experience. It also generates shipping labels and delivery notes, allowing associates to focus on higher-value work. “We’ve gained efficiency and reliability throughout the shipping process,” says Monnet.
