The Easy WMS warehouse management software from Mecalux will give the car parts manufacturer much tighter control over goods movements in its facility in Kąty Opolskie (Poland).
“The dynamic development of our business has made process digitization a necessity for us. Our goal in implementing the Easy WMS warehouse management system is to improve all processes in our facility, especially order fulfillment, with fast and effective picking,” says Magdalena Ziembicka, Head of Purchasing at MM Systemy.
Easy WMS will be integrated with MM Systemy’s SAP Business One ERP system to maintain an exact record of the raw materials used to manufacture every automobile part. Thanks to digitization, the company will eliminate paper from all its operations, which will boost efficiency and reduce errors.
Traceability is another vital process for MM Systemy. With Easy WMS, the business will be able to exhaustively monitor the movements its goods make. To do so, it will send instructions to operators on where to store each item or which production line to deliver it to.
“Easy WMS will minimize the risk of error and make it easier to meet customer demand. I expect the constant access to up-to-date data to increase our efficiency in managing our raw material and finished product inventory. I also think it will enable us to optimize the available space in the facility,” says Ziembicka.
