Foncal, a distributor of plumbing and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) products, has partnered with Mecalux to digitalize its facility in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. As part of its logistics modernization strategy, the business will deploy the Easy WMS warehouse management system to streamline operations and enable real-time inventory control.
“Implementing an advanced software solution like Easy WMS will enhance the quality of our logistics management,” the company says. “Our goal is to improve product traceability, reduce errors, and speed up replenishment processes. “This first rollout in Santa Cruz de Tenerife will set the stage for digitalizing our other centers at a future date.”
The facility features an integrated retail store where customers select items and pay at checkout. Easy WMS will synchronize inventory management between the store and the warehouse, ensuring more accurate operations.
“Integrating Easy WMS with our SAP Business One ERP system is essential for building a connected supply chain where information flows seamlessly between departments,” says the team at Foncal.
Foncal manages the largest stock of plumbing products in the Canary Islands. The Easy WMS deployment marks the beginning of a strategic project that the company plans to expand to its other warehouses in a second phase.
