Job Description:

The Customer Service Representative role is responsible for resolving issues, processing orders, tracking/tracing shipments, processing returns/damages, and working with internal departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve high volume of customer calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Receive, process, and respond to inquiries regarding pricing, order status and changes, product availability, and product information
  • Process all incoming requests for shipment information from both internal and external based customers
  • Serve as back-up to Receptionist.  Attend to the front desk, take and transfer incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, sort mail, book travel arrangements.
  • Assist Inside Sales with administrative tasks.  Help respond to RFI’s, help direct leads to the appropriate person, respond to simple RFI’s when possible.
  • Assist in filing and archiving within the customer service department. 
  • Complete reports using SAP and MS Excel

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrative, Communication, or related field of study.
  • Proficiency in basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, understand calculations related to percentages, basic algebra)
  • Intermediate Excel skills.  Familiarity with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulae, etc.
  • Positive, high-energy, resilient personality.
  • Ability to complete a high-volume amount of work while remaining detail-focused.  High sense of urgency.
  • Ability and desire to work on-site, in-office at our Melrose Park, IL location 100%.  No hybrid or telework available.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is ideal
