We are hiring an Entry-level Inside Sales Representative to work out of our Melrose Park, IL corporate office.
This role is responsible for managing and following up on lead generation of Interlake Mecalux products.
- Create quotes
- Qualify and manage all leads that are generated that may require outside sales support.
- Partner with Outside Sales to establish long term relationships with customers.
- Follow up with outside sales on leads and quotes within assigned territory.
- Evaluate Outside Sales Representatives' performance and offer resources such as training or further action to improve performance
- Utilize market research to develop sales opportunities which will assure market performance and penetration in support of business initiatives.
- Ensure completion of customer projects through the coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation and customer service activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing or equivalent education and experience.
- Assertive, action-oriented, results-driven, and service-focused.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers via phone and email
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
