We are hiring a Warehouse Lead to work out of our Sumter, SC facility

The Warehouse Lead position is responsible for management of all personnel, systems, and warehouse resources required for the effective control and completion of frame assembly, order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping.


  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow while maintaining facility compliance with standard safety procedures.
  • Plans, assigns and directs work of warehouse personnel.
  • Works to satisfactorily resolve any customer issues.
  • Ensures cycle counting is completed according to warehouse standards and coordinates the annual physical inventory.
  • Reports any process or equipment issue to the appropriate member of Management
  • Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
  • Ensures compliance with all OSHA and DOT requirements
  • Compiles and distributes shipping reports detailing status of orders, on-time delivery metrics, and daily shipping costs to monitor efficiency and quality.
  • Stages products to prepare orders for movement.
Minimum requirements:
  • Strong character and strong leadership skills
  • Previous shipping & warehousing experience, with experience in a manufacturing company preferred
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
  • Previous experience with an ERP system required, with AS/400 preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA rules and regulations. Safety-focused attitude.
  • Previous experience in operating fork-lifts; previous or current fork-lift certification
  • Ability to work either 1st or 2nd shift
  • Ability to work in hot and cold conditions, on the plant floor at least 75% of the time (walking, standing, etc.)
