Provide technical support and customer needs analysis related to our software products for our partner and commercial networks.
-Confer with internal sales management in order to understand the customers completely and analyze customers’ needs
-Utilize market research to analyze our competition and determine strategies to position our products over our competition.
-Work with sales team to identify new markets/distributors and potential new business opportunities
-Provide training, guidance, and technical support to customers, Area Market Managers, and Account Executives related to estimating/pricing procedures as well as order preparation activities.
-Conduct demonstrations and prepare presentations to customers regarding the function and benefits of the software application.
-Coordinate proposal generation including but not limited to creating bills of material and pricing/selecting material when required.
-Provide product application and product orientation training to internal personnel and external customers in order to demonstrate Interlake Mecalux’s software capabilities.
-Log and follow all leads and quotes. Follow established lead generation program guidelines. Monitor all lost projects, identifying reason for loss and report back to sales management
-Visit and/or meet with customers as required.
-Bachelor or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related professional experience and/or training
-Knowledge of and professional exposure to WMS software and Supply Chain
-Professional communication skills
-Previous professional experience in a software company or previous technical sales support experience highly preferred
-Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex business problems.
-Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision independently and within a team
-Excellent analytical and technical aptitude
-A customer-focused and “whatever it takes” attitude
-Flexibility to travel
-Proficiency in MS Office; previous exposure to SAP or major ERP highly preferred
