This role is responsible for targeting, acquiring, increasing, and maintaining sales of our software products.
-Conduct market research in order to analyze the WMS software industry and competition’s place within the industry
-Manage, respond to, and follow through on sales opportunities and leads
-Create, expand, and maintain the customer network/distribution channels
-Conduct sales presentations, direct sales calls, manage contract negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales contracts.
-Provide product training to customers related to our software
-Work with pre-sales department to develop presentations, documentations, and solutions demonstrations for end users and distributors
-Manage the distribution channel by analyzing sales leads, sending leads to distributors as deemed appropriate, and tracking leads
-Maintain the company’s CRM (OPC) continuously
-Develop monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts
-Attend conferences and industry events
-Other duties as assigned
-Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or similar field of study or equivalent education and experience
-Previous experience selling IT/software solutions.
-Professional communication skills
-Availability to travel as needed in furtherance of job duties
-Previous experience selling a WMS software or Supply Chain product is preferred
-Previous experience selling through distributors is preferred
-Knowledge of the logistics industry and material flow processes in warehousing is preferred
-Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
